Floris United Methodist Church celebrates 25 years in ministry together with Bishop Tom Berlin

HERNDON, Va. - Dec. 4, 2022 - PRLog -- Floris/Restoration UMC is celebrating 25 years in ministry together with Bishop Tom and Mrs. Karen Berlin. Our theme is Vision, Legacy, and Transformation. The celebration will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2 p.m. at Floris UMC. This special celebration will include recognition and reflection on our ministry together, including some special guests and highlights of what God has done throughout the past 25 years while Tom has served as our lead pastor.  A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

We invite the community to join us in celebrating 25 years in ministry together with Tom and Karen Berlin.  "Members of Floris /Restoration UMC have a deep love and respect for our lead pastor, Rev. Tom Berlin.  Our church family is humbled at what God has done over our twenty-five years in ministry together. We will cherish our time with Bishop Berlin and his family this Advent and Christmas season. Bishop Berlin will officially begin his new appointment to the Florida Annual Conference on January 1, 2023.  Rev. Barbara Miner began serving as our acting lead pastor on December 1.
