9th Annual Adopt-A-Family Event Headlines 2022 Holiday Season Filled with Opportunities to Give Back

LAS VEGAS - Nov. 22, 2022 - PRLog -- Community Outreach Medical Center and the Ogden Family Foundation (https://ogdenfamilyfoundation.org/) are proud to partner on the 9^th Annual Adopt-A-Family Event and Holiday Toy Drive in 2022. Underserved families from around the community who could use some assistance this holiday season will be able to pick up food, toys, gifts, household items and other essentials they may need.

Donations are currently being accepted at Community Outreach Medical Center (http://nvcomc.org/) located at 1090 E. Desert Inn Rd. in Las Vegas along with 19 other convenient locations throughout greater Las Vegas thanks to community partners like Top Notch The Health Center, Roma Italian, Craft Kitchen, Chenin Orthodontics, Chenin and Thalgott Orthodontics, PKWY Tavern, Coffee Bean, and Brain & Yoga Thai. Anyone interested in spreading holiday cheer this year can donate a new, unwrapped toy (valued $10 or more) or purchase items on an Amazon wish list. In addition to toys, books, board games, sporting goods, and cosmetics as well as arts and crafts will all be welcome donations for families. Items can be dropped off now until December 4.

A charity cornhole tournament (https://www.tickettailor.com/checkout/view-event/id/17321...) sponsored by KTNV ABC 13 Action News and KCEP Power 88.1 FM to benefit the Adopt-A-Family program and Holiday Toy Drive is set for Saturday, December 3 at PKWY Tavern Marks located at 445 Marks St. in Henderson, Nev. Participants can bring their own doubles partner, play in a 4-game round-robin tournament into single elimination. There will be upper and lower divisions for different skill levels and a guarantee to play five games for all tournament competitors. Entry fee is $80 (purchase here (https://www.tickettailor.com/checkout/view-event/id/1732112/chk/6c2e/)) with cash prizes of $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $150 for third place. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. and the tournament starts at 12:00 p.m. Participants and observers are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy (valued $10 or more) for a raffle ticket to win prizes.

The 9^th Annual Adopt-A-Family Event will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Community Outreach Medical Center in Las Vegas.
