NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nov. 21, 2022 - PRLog -- Regent Surgical Health, a proven leader in advancing and innovating ambulatory surgery care, recently awarded five educational scholarships to college and high school students for the 2022-2023 school year as part of its RISE program.

Regent developed the RISE scholarship program to recognize and reward the children of its employees for exhibiting RISE values in their daily life: Respectful Caring, Integrity, Stewardship, and Efficiency.

This year's winners include:
Michelle Andrade, daughter of Irma Andrade – Roosevelt University (Chicago, IL)
Giselle Andrade, daughter of Irma Andrade – Columbia College Chicago (Chicago, IL)
Lorena Murguia, daughter of Maria Murguia – Dominican University (River Forest, IL)
Katlin Nelson, daughter of Lisa Nelson – Andrews University (Berrien Springs, MI)
Morgan Phillips, daughter of Amy Phillips – Middle Tennessee State University (Murfreesboro, TN)

"This year's group of scholarship recipients are very deserving of this recognition. The ways that they exemplify our RISE values at home, at school, and in their community is inspiring and we are proud to support their continuing education," said Regent CEO Chris Bishop (https://regentsh.com/team/chris-bishop/).

Eligible students must be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in college or technical school courses. Candidates fill out an application including two essays and two letters of recommendation. To date, Regent has awarded over 50 scholarships since beginning this program in 2018.

"We strive to exhibit our core values every day and creating Regent Cares and this scholarship opportunity gave us another vehicle to do this," added Bishop. "At the heart of any great organization is its culture, and this program is such a wonderful example of how we're living our values and caring for each other."
