MsyChords app for playing chords with ease

BERLIN - Nov. 17, 2022 - PRLog -- The MsyChords app provides rich functionality for creating and performing music chords.
Five presets buttons, four modifier buttons and two sliders allow to control the play performance.

• Presets can be changed with one finger tip. Chord table can be selected from the iCloud directory, as well as the tone base (key). The sound can be configured. External sound fonts can be loaded.
• Level control -- The sliders allow to adjust the volume at any time while playing.
• Play mode & arpeggiator -- The left top button supports different play modes.
• Speed control & help -- The right top button provides a help and settings page for M1 and else controls the speed of the arpeggios. The speed can be set by tapping or by sliding the button.
• Sustain control -- The left bottom button provides a damper pedal.
• Lock sustain and clear -- The right bottom button provides a lock sustain mode and clear.

A chord table is a collection of chords organized in rows and columns. The chord consists of arbitrary tones and a chord name. Further the table has an entry for a base tone (key). The chord tables are stored as files and show up in the MsyChords iCloud directory. New chord tables can be created, renamed, updated and deleted.

The edit mode is started by long pressing the preset selector button until the selector button changes to red. Editing the chord tones happens as duodecimal MIDI numbers 0 .. 9,X,T. Rows and columns can be added or deleted. Chord table cells can be moved around. Saving of chord tables to iCloud is supported after in-app purchase.
