Target Arm Demonstrates Tular Proof-of-Concept (POC) to Hyundai Motor Group

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Nov. 16, 2022 - PRLog -- Target Arm Inc., the leader in autonomous drone launch and recovery systems while on-the-move, announces the successful demonstration of their Proof-of-Concept Tular v3.1 device for the Hyundai Motor Group in Seoul, South Korea, November 7-11, 2023. This Hyundai-funded POC was designed and built specifically for a Hyundai Palisade Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) as a Purpose-Built Vehicle (PBV). This next generation Tular POC can be used in many vehicles for package delivery, first responders (fire, police, disaster recovery, etc.), oil & gas & energy, construction, mining and videography, amongst many others use cases. In addition, this specific form factor of Tular was also designed to fit on the US Army's Stryker M113 Armored Personnel Carrier for demonstration purposes.

Target Arm designed and built this POC in less than 6 months, and then sent a team to Korea to participate in the Hyundai Open Innovation Lounge 2022, held in the Hyundai Motor Group Global Headquarters. Hyundai Motor Group divisions were invited to observe and speak directly with Target Arm personnel about Tular v3.1 throughout the event, resulting in over 350 live flight demonstrations and discussions. Target Arm had 1on1 demonstrations and presentations to Jae Hoon Chang (President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company), Chung Kook Park (President and head of R&D Division) and Ho-Sung Song (President and CEO of Kia Corporation).
