Family Initiative All in for Autism Casino Night raises $195,000 to support Thrive Academy launch

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Nov. 15, 2022 - PRLog -- Family Initiative's All in for Autism Casino Night brought in $195,000 to support the launch of Thrive Academy, a private educational space designed to meet the unique needs of adolescents diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

Held Nov. 4 at The Westin Cape Coral Resort, the event was made possible thanks to many sponsors including the title "All In" sponsor, iMold, and featured an evening of live auctions, gaming, live music, food and spirits to support Family Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children with autism and strengthening their families.

"Thanks to all our amazing sponsors and generous supporters, our All in for Autism Casino Night was a huge success raising much-needed funds to support our plans to build Thrive Academy," said David Brown, co-founder and president of Family Initiative. "A supportive educational space, Thrive Academy will offer a multidisciplinary approach to meet the unique needs of each student so they can thrive."

Through compassion and innovation, Florida-based Family Initiative provides social skills programs, clinical services and community education for children and families impacted by autism spectrum disorder, as well as those in the child welfare system. Family Initiative offers a family-centered approach to caring for children and families that includes evidence-based therapies, innovative programs, practical training and compassionate support.
