The new Semiconductors ratings for 2022 have just been released by RealRate.

These are the top three U.S. Semiconductors companies with best financial health, measured by Economic Capital Ratio:

1. TECHPOINT – 352.62%
2. POWER INTEGRATIONS – 298.59%
3. ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES – 261.65%

Originating from San Jose, California, Techpoint has been big players in the semiconductor business since 2012. They provide IT support services for small, medium and large organizations, with technicians working from all over North America. Power Integrations was founded in 1988 and are is a Silicon Valley-based supplier of high-performance electronic components used in high-voltage power-conversion systems. Advanced Micro Devices (better known as AMD) is a multinational semiconductor company based in Santa Clara, California. Techpoint move from 8^th last year to 1^st, Power Integrations from 6^th to 2^nd, and AMD from 2^nd in 2021 to 3^rd this year.

CEO Dr. Holger Bartel: "The U.S. Semiconductor industry was worth a huge $251bn in 2021. This is 48% of the global market in terms of revenue. However, U.S. located fabrication plants account for just 12% of the world's semiconductor manufacturing, down from 37% in 1990.
