This project is about raising awareness to mental health and wellbeing. Poor worker mental health costs the U.S. $48b per year but more importantly, it costs us and our families and loved ones dearly. He hope that through his art book, people can come to understand and process their emotions better.

He has been facing a period of work stress during the Covid-19 pandemic and it affected him and his family to a point where he quit his job and to seek help. Through the psychotherapy sessions, He discovered that through visualising and journaling his emotions as guests in my guest house, He was able to create distance between himself, and his feelings.

This was how he began writing My Guest House book, which is a method of visualising and processing emotions. He published it online as a free ebook but soon discovered that a far better way to process emotions was to have my mood journal combined with art. This was the genesis of his Kickstarter campaign.

If you know anyone who struggles with managing emotions, this could be useful for them. Help us build a community of resilient people, who are aware of our emotions, patterns of negative thoughts and beliefs and are able to develop strategies to manage stressful triggers as they arise.
