Smile Experience Orthodontics Accepts Halloween Candy For Treats for Troops

WAYNE, N.J. - Nov. 8, 2022 - PRLog -- Wayne, NJ: Trick or treating is now sadly over and sorting (and eating!) through the candy haul begins. Braces-wearers have to keep in mind that some candy is best avoided to ensure braces stay safe — candy that's hard, crunchy, sticky, or gummy can damage them. But what do you do with all that not-so-braces-friendly candy?

From November 1-14th, 2022, patients of Smile Experience Orthodontics in Wayne and Oak Ridge, New Jersey are invited to bring in candy they can't eat because of their braces. Candy will be donated to Treats for Troops, an initiative of Soldiers' Angels that collects and ships excess Halloween candy to deployed service members and veterans.

Young or old, families or individuals, Smile Experience patients who donate their candy will be entered into a draw to win 4 movie tickets. The draw will take place on November 18, 2022 and the winner will be posted on Instagram: @thesmileexperience and Facebook: Smile Experience Orthodontics. We'll also notify the winner by phone.
