Pulse CPSEA Announces Keynote, Chairs for 2023 Annual Patient Safety Symposium

WANTAGH, N.Y. - Nov. 7, 2022 - PRLog -- Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy today announced the Chairpersons and Keynote Speaker for its next symposium on patient safety, to take place March 15 and 16, 2023.

Sharing Chair duties are Robin Moulder, Senior Manager in the Division of Quality & Safety, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York, and Helen Haskell, President of the nonprofit patient organizations Mothers Against Medical Error/Consumers Advancing Patient Safety, and for many years a leader in the patient safety movement.

The symposium's Keynote speaker will be Dr. Tejal Ghandi, MD, MPH, CPPS, Chief Safety and Transformation Officer at Press Ganey Associates LLC.

"The Landscape of Patient Safety: Where We've Been, Where We're Going", Pulse's 8^th (and second virtual) symposium will have expert speakers on the current state of patient safety in the US, and will explore new directions in the effort to reduce harm from medical error, which remains one of the nation's top causes of death and injury.
