Brooklyn's Dead Dog - Kyrie - To Ye Or Not To Ye - Mental Health In New York City

NEW YORK - Nov. 6, 2022 - PRLog -- New York, the city Kanye West got his start and where Kyrie Irving plays basketball for the Brooklyn Nets, will eventually come back. But right now, we are hurting. In Prospect Park, a short walk from The Barkleys Center, someone suspected of mental health (three months ago) killed a dog in broad daylight. Today, New Yorkers are chiming in on the complex issue of mental health the same way we talk about New York sports - partly because the attacker is still at large, despite regular reported sightings by people in the park. Well intended "Know It All" New Yorkers (like myself) hope for an expedient resolution to a complex problem. We dream of the day all folks suffering from mental health (with the help of a magic pill or through meditation), see that the real cause of problem is not life itself, it's the commotion the mind makes about life that really causes the problems.

Mental health impacts both rich and poor. As a self anointed street corner psychiatrist, I point to Ye and Kyrie. Well intended or not, the most disheartening experience these two media darlings (who believe in the manifestation of anything they set their mind too) is embracing their insignificance.
