Perla Garcia Mysteries Wins Latin Podcast Award

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Oct. 27, 2022 - PRLog -- The Perla Garcia Mysteries Podcast has won the 2022 Latin Podcast Award in the category of Children, Family, and Parenting. The podcast is based on the children's book series of the same name.  The podcast was created, written, and produced by Rodolfo Alvarado through Caballo Productions.

The podcast features Daisy Guevara in the lead role and showcases the talents of Josh Zambrano, Melody Korkmaz, Jazmine Kuyayki Broe, Juan-Daniel Coronado, and Eduardo Garcia Rascon. Original music for the series was composed by Steve Somers and Eduardo Garcia Rascon and sung by Alejandra Calvete and Valerie Barrymore.

In accepting the award, Alvarado praised the talented individuals who made the podcast possible. "All of the thanks for the podcast's success and recognition must go to the actors, singers, and composers. They came from New York to Peru, and all points inbetween, to create a podcast of the highest caliber for children throughout world."

The Latin Podcast Awards (LPA) are considered the Academy Awards for Latinos in podcasting. Entries are submitted from across the globe and winners are chosen by a distinguished panel of judges. The award was established by Felix Montelara, the founder of Audio Dice Network Media Group. According to Montelara, "The LPA is the only worldwide podcasting competition award honoring Lantino/Hispanic and non-Latino podcast content creators in the United States and countries around the world."
