San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo kicked off the event with a dynamic and optimistic presentation of the growth of the region. Santa Clara Mayor Lisa Gillmor took an objective approach to the topic, providing case-studies, projects in the pipeline, and the resulting economic growth expected. Concluding the event at the Delta Hotel in Santa Clara was Cupertino Mayor Darcy Paul. Mayor Paul gave a vibrant and entertaining talk highlighting many of the hidden treasures and recent initiatives in Cupertino. John Elwood, 2022-2023 Board Chair of the Silicon Valley Central Chamber (SVC Chamber) was elated, "We have very distinct challenges in the Valley as we work through this period of economic recovery." He continued, "It means the world to the business community that our mayors are working with us so closely. They hear us and are truly part of the solution." "This is who we are," said Christian D.
