JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Oct. 25, 2022 - PRLog -- Global Entertainment Technology, Inc., ("GET"), acknowledges reality – terrestrial radio is like fax machines, dial-up Internet and network television - all dying.  Internet streaming audio and video are overtaking everything.

GET CEO, Dain L. Schult, remarked, "Edison Research reports that 88% of American adults own a mobile phone with 33% now using their phones to listen to audio, compared to 31% who still use a radio.  In 2014, 49% of all audio content was consumed on  terrestrial radio receivers, with only 18% that was by smartphone. Traditional radio has been declining ever since as smartphones continue to be the go-to device for everything Americans do.

"'Edison also states that radio content can also be consumed by smart-speakers, radio  mobile apps or satellite.  Mobile devices are multi-media/multi-sourced devices. Radio receivers are single-use and difficult to find outside of cars and can't compete.

"So as a paen to the old days of traditional radio, we have continued to study the viability of a format that would roll back to Big Band music of the Forties into Lush/Pop music of the Fifties/Sixties.  We accept the fact that this is a smaller demographic group with high end numbers than other more mass appeal formats.

"We're curious if it's possible to interject a "hipness" factor to broaden appeal.  Can it be an ancillary Baby Boomer format?  We call it 'Timeless Classics.' There've been past Big Band and Fifties formats in syndication, so the question is, Can this format capture the essence of those times and musical style to draw in curious Gen X and Millennials into the audience mix of upper demographics?

"This music is too good to let fade away and die.  Many elements of Big Band made their way into Rock n' Roll. Once research  is complete, this programming will be available ifor syndication by our Miracle Wonderland Radio Company."

GET is designed to be global friendly and initiative-taking in all things media. It will also be involved in live entertainment, sound systems and talent product development.
