The Walter Art Gallery Presents "Gadget Lands" the solo exhibition of Jason Hugger

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Oct. 17, 2022 - PRLog -- The Walter Art Gallery, Scottsdale, AZ, is presenting "Gadget Lands" a solo show of work by local artist, Jason Hugger, opening reception at the WAG on October 21, 2022, from 6:30pm to 9pm.

Hugger paints vibrant, surreal desert landscapes populated with fascinating cast-off parts and apparatuses with the goal of producing "work that reveals the luminous beauty hidden in displaced objects and barren desolate horizons."  Hugger use of found objects and creates a compelling still-life composition. He then imagines a radiant land where these contrivances of long-lost bits and pieces might rest with their own beauty and temperaments evident to visitors. The result is paintings that evoke the beauty and desolation of the desert and the enduring power and allure of obscure human objects.
