Christmas Markets are Back in SalzburgerLand, Austria

SALZBURGERLAND, Austria - Oct. 17, 2022 - PRLog -- Advent, a magical time in Austria's SalzburgerLand, starts mid November and runs to Christmas Eve. The country's Christmas markets tradition began in Salzburg in the 15^th Century when the Tandlmarkt set up in Cathedral Square to sell produce and gifts to locals. Running for two weeks either side of St Nicholas's Day, it became Nikolaimarkt, and more recently the Salzburg Christkindlmarkt, which fills the entire square with 100 artisan stalls.
