Primera Foundation Hosts 2nd Annual STEMFEST Event at Brookfield Zoo

CHICAGO - Sept. 28, 2022 - PRLog -- The Primera Foundation—born out of Primera Engineers, a woman-owned engineering firm in Chicago—will be hosting its second annual STEMFEST fundraiser at Brookfield Zoo this Sunday October 2nd, 2022. STEMFEST is a family-friendly event that supports the scholarship, education, and mentorship of students interested in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. This fun family outing provides ticket holders an enjoyable day at the beautiful Brookfield Zoo, full of food, drinks, entertainment, and education.

"We know that to reap the benefits of progress and innovation in engineering, we need access for all minds and voices to be at the table. Our mission is to provide support, awareness, and encouragement for that to happen."

STEMFEST is an annual event that celebrates and inspires the next generation of STEM leadership. Not only do attendees get to enjoy a day at the zoo with complimentary access to amenities, exhibits, and shows, but a buffet lunch, drinks for the adults, and educational activities for the kids are also provided via the reserved outdoor private event space.
