Abatable announces new strategic partnership with Geotree
Abatable a carbon intelligence and procurement platform announces partnership with Geotree, a monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) technology company
Under the terms of the partnership, Abatable and Geotree have agreed to exchange services and expertise, as well as look to explore collaboration opportunities for the development of future products and services. Abatable will promote Geotree's MRV and geospatial solutions to its clients as part of its quality assessments, as well as to carbon project developers in Abatable's network who are looking to leverage geospatial information for new project developments.
"Abatable identifies high-quality carbon projects and developers, using a proprietary quality assessment framework. We are excited to be a partner of choice to help Abatable and their clients better assess and monitor high quality projects and support their team with an independent assessment of additionality, carbon estimation and baseline verification, leveraging Geotree's innovative geospatial and MRV solutions", said Jon Pierre, CEO of Geotree.
The companies will also collaborate on market reports and analysis of the carbon markets. "Collaboration is one of our core values at Abatable. Getting to net zero will require collaboration on planetary scale. We are excited to partner with a specialist MRV company to accelerate our understanding of nature-based projects by leveraging the deep expertise of the Geotree team on a project-by-project basis", said Maria Eugenia Filmanovic, co-founder of Abatable.
