Self-help poet Gwendolyn Rose Forrest wrote her latest poetry collection The Born Good Enough Mindset to emphasize that everyone is born "good enough" and with the innate creativity to validate their self-worth.

Written from a cosmic perspective and humanist worldview, this affirmative book helps with self-reflection, thinking critically, and valuing everyone's humanity and worthiness.

Containing more than 180 original messages, the book offers an introspective look at how people can shed their negative ways in order to better treat themselves and others. The poems point out that each one of us is worthy of love, success, and happiness, and therefore the ultimate goal is continual self-improvement that should be used to benefit humanity, other beings, and the earth.

About the Author: Gwendolyn Rose Forrest is a poet and the author of two other self-help poetry books: Dreams, Deeds, and Destiny and Everyday Ethics and Equity. She  possesses a BA in sociology/psychology and an MA in public administration. Throughout her career as a writer, civil rights advocate, administrator, and certified fund-raising executive, she has worked in seven major metropolitan areas: Detroit, Michigan; Atlanta, Georgia; Portland, Oregon; Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; San Diego, California; and Fort Worth, Texas. Retired, the author currently resides in Detroit and enjoys writing, line dancing, and yoga.
