Become a Sustainable Florist
Trained in Paris by the renowned international florist - Catherine Muller – we consider floristry to be an art form. Visually impactful, we believe the creation of floral displays evokes an emotional response, in the same way other artists and designers do so through their chosen media.
When it comes to our own floral style - nature is our guide and we take creative inspiration from the garden and the organic structures and materials around us. As such, our floristry classes and programmes are designed with the natural world at its core.
Contemporary yet romantic, we promote sustainable floristry and support local grower and we like to break a few floral rules along the way.
Taught by Floral Atelier Experts
Principal florist - Marie Bailey – spent fifteen years as a university lecturer in some the UK's leading and most prestigious business schools and academic institutions and uses her experience of teaching in the design and delivery of our floral training.
Taking a student-centred approach, Marie has developed a strong teaching practice, showing students how to 'think' as well as 'do'.
Floral training courses run throughout the year, teaching students in small groups, no two workshops are the same as our programmes are constantly evolving. This three-day programme runs from Friday to Sunday and is designed to give students a basic understanding of contemporary floristry styles and techniques. Working with both fresh and dried materials, you will learn the floral design process from beginning to end.
Marie offers the opportunity for one-to-one floristry tutoring opportunities, travel to your location may be possible, even if you're outside of the UK.
