$60 for the 60th Anniversary of the Fort Worth Chorale
North Texas Giving Day is today. The FWC asks patrons to honor the organization's celebration of 60 years of singing on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
Founded in 1962 as Schola Cantorum of Texas, Fort Worth Chorale is one of Texas' foremost civic choruses and the premier choral ensemble of Fort Worth. Comprised of more than 70 volunteer singers performing at the highest professional standards, the FWC traditionally performs three concerts yearly in venues across the North Texas area.
The FWC opens the 60th anniversary season next month with "American Treasures, with Shawn Kirchner" on Saturday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. at UTA's Irons Recital Hall and again on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Fort Worth United Methodist Church.
