Downriver Prayer Breakfast Plans Thirty-Fifth Annual event featuring speaker Heather Palacious

SOUTHGATE, Mich. - Sept. 13, 2022 - PRLog -- When it became clear that the Breakfast event for 800-plus could not happen because of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, a free, virtual streaming service was held and broadcast on Facebook and Youtube.  Downriver Prayer Breakfast organizers held the breakfast in person last year and will continue the tradition this year on Friday December 2, starting at 7:00a.m. for breakfast.

The scheduled keynote speaker this year will be Heather Palacious – she is the founder of "WondHerful, Inc." a ministry dedicated to helping and saving the lives of those struggling with mental health issues. She speaks at numerous venues, including businesses, high schools, churches and colleges, to share the message of hope she has found in life, much of it centered around her relationship with Jesus Christ. Her ministry provides "LifeBoxes" free of charge to anyone requesting it be sent to someone experiencing a mental or suicidal crisis.

Individual tickets are $20. An individual sponsorship of $150 includes two tickets. For a donation of $700, sponsors receive 10 tickets. Student sponsorships are available for $400, which allows 10 local high school students to attend.
