The 12th Annual R.I.C.E Awards Honors News Icon Monica Kaufman with A Lifetime Achievement Award

ATLANTA - Sept. 13, 2022 - PRLog -- The Rising in Community Excellence Awards are given to individuals who demonstrate keen awareness about their community. Celebrating its 12th year, The R.I.C.E Awards will be held Saturday September 24, 2022, 4pm at Atlanta City Hall 55 Trinity AVE SW Atlanta. Georgia 30303. These nominees
have created organizations that serve communities all over the city. This year's award show is sponsored by Nissan of Union City, Atlanta Fibroid Center, and Georgia Injury Attorney Brian Poe & Associates.

ABOUT THE AWARDS

RICE Award nominees are innovative and charitable visionaries who recognize the importance of their presence and contribution to their community and beyond. Nominees are selected by a panel of industry professionals, community leaders and everyday citizens. Each category is about a community leader who has used their position to develop or implement programs that have changed the face of our communities and helped people in innumerable ways. Brown, Terry Clark, and Drew Sewell. Nehemiah Award (Community Impact): Dr. C. H. Braddy, Dr. Jeremy Tuck, Quincy L. Carswell II, & Bishop J.C. ABOUT THE FOUNDER

The R.I.C.E Awards was founded twelve years ago by philanthropist, radio personality and relationship strategist C Chandon Carter. Carter began his career in promotions and sales in Alabama. This Chicago native and University of Alabama alum wanted to create a platform that highlighted the people who worked very hard taking care of others. People who unselfishly gave without money or recognition.  Since the inception of the R.I.C.E Awards it has been proven that these types of people exist in communities everywhere and for one night all eyes are on them. C Chandon Carter and The Carter Unlimited LLC's mission for the R.I.C.E Awards and their Foundation is simple. "We honor the unsung heroes of the community", said Carter.
