Entrepreneurs Teaching Financial Literacy to Youth Through Entrepreneurship

CHICAGO - Sept. 11, 2022 - PRLog -- Author and Entrepreneur, Pongee Barnes and her two sons are on a mission to educate, empower, and teach the younger generation about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and community leadership through their company, Little Owners.

Founder of Little Owners, Pongee Barnes,  started her entrepreneurship journey with investing to real estate, at the age of 20 and as a college student. While achieving success in real estate, Barnes decided to turn her passion of wealth of financial literacy knowledge, and real estate experience into assisting and inspiring millennials to invest in real estate.

In 2019, Barnes, along with her two sons, Benjamin and Franklin, started "Little Owners" a children's book company that educates and teaches children about entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and community leadership. The "Little Owners" brand collections of books consist of African American characters inspiring children to pursue entrepreneurial related careers. The collection was also designed and written with the viewpoint and perspective of Black Wall Street. Collectively, they have  written a total of 13 books within their series and recently became a Chicago Public School vendor to distribute their collections. Currently, Little Owners is offering a summer sale on their 5 series book collection for $39.99.
