AVI Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Sept. 1, 2022 - PRLog -- Applied Video Imaging, a provider of rugged video products for airborne, ground, and marine surveillance missions is celebrating its tenth year as an innovative provider of rugged video switches, converters, processors, and displays for airborne, ground and marine surveillance missions.

AVI has been on a consistent path to provide increasingly rugged and reliable SDI-based video products suitable for the most challenging applications.  The latest generation of displays and many of the converters are designed for IP68 moisture environments.  All of AVI's products are designed to DO-160 standards with ICDs and CAD files available.

AVI has refreshed its product line with an innovative approach to its third generation of displays and User Interface Modules. While continuing its focus on aviation applications, the new displays feature detachable display electronics units suitable for the most demanding applications, including open cockpit boats and ground vehicles, that require operations in very high ambient temperatures, in direct sunlight, and IP68 water resistance. AVI's User Interface Modules, available in PCAP or Mechanical button forms provides customizable control for all of AVI's products as well as any system component capable of ethernet, RS232, RS485, or discreet I/O interface.
