Ms. Dianna Boss - CEO, Ms. Donna L. Quesinberry - CFO/COO, and Mr. Larry "Magic" Smith - Board Member have resigned from the Faces of Rap Mothers as of 27 August 2022 after holding an emergency meeting regarding events leading up to the Faces of Rap Mothers pre-show performance at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. These influential leaders feel the brand's future focus is not aligned to the origin of the brand that was created to build the rap and hip-hop community through empowerment of women toward an elevated vision with future focus in community enhancement through bringing together current, new, and rising artists among a series of entertainment industry pursuits alongside long-standing industry icons to enable, coach, train, include, and upsell same. The outgoing leadership saw the Faces of Rap Mothers as a visionary organization aimed at helping others. They expressed a deep sorrow about the current situation involving multiple parties including the owner and creator, Candy Strother DeVore-Mitchell. All three parties stated, "Our continued intention was to uplift the rap and hip hop community through qualitative strategies with projected outcomes intended to "build" community through a passion for the arts and the rich history of the mothers, sisters, aunts, daughters, and participants in the rap and hip hop community. We are sorry to feel the need to reach this unanimous decision and wish organization and owner / creator Candy Strother DeVore-Mitchell well." https://www.facebook.com/ End
