The very thought of traditional homemade meals bring many home to enjoy a day of joy. But in the last couple of years this routine event, and others have been cancelled because of the covid-19 global emergency. But looking forward to the thanksgiving event of 2022; will there be enough food? This is what many professionals are saying. David Beasley, executive director of the World Food Program reported that funding is lacking, and the Russian war with Ukraine along with extreme drought is causing a global food crisis. He made a statement on the media program for the PBS NewsHour that this is a global crisis. Many experts like Cary Fowler, US special envoy for food security, are saying that because of different variables that are affecting food supplies globally; the year of 2023 could make the food crisis worse. As the extreme heat waves cause alarming drought conditions, how much food will be available to purchase on grocery's store shelves? Maybe it's time to store food, and water. Would there have been a thanksgiving feast in Plymouth, Massachusetts of 1621 held by Pilgrims, and the Wampanoag Natives without food?
