Northwestern Mutual-Chicago Promotes Jeannette Miyazono to Director of Strategic Development

CHICAGO - Aug. 24, 2022 - PRLog -- Northwestern Mutual-Chicago has promoted Jeannette Miyazono to Director of Strategic Development. As Director of Strategic Development, Miyazono will lead the newly created Office of Strategic Growth and Enduring Firm Development, coordinating the financial planning firm's professional development, practice management, marketing and client relations center.

Miyazono brings more than ten years of experience in business consulting, coaching and development, marketing and client loyalty to her new position. She joined Northwestern Mutual-Chicago in 2010 as a Client Relations Coordinator, was promoted to Client Relations Supervisor in 2013 and Associate Director of Client Relations in 2015. In her previous roles, Miyazono launched a sponsorship program for career and emerging advisors and representatives, and enhanced strategic community partnerships. She co-led the firm's childhood cancer philanthropic initiatives, which she will continue to do in her new role.

When Miyazono was promoted to Client Relations Center Director in 2017, she led Northwestern Mutual-Chicago to four consecutive years of earning the Northwestern Mutual Financial Security Award, an achievement unmatched by more than 330 Northwestern Mutual offices nationwide. The award recognizes a comprehensive approach to planning and integrating insurance and investments.

Miyazono holds a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University. She is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and is certified as a financial service coach through Client Wise and Northwestern Mutual.

Miyazono serves on the Auxiliary Board Executive Committee as Vice President of Programming at the Shedd Aquarium. In addition, she is a past Road Scholars Group Leader for the Chicago Area Runners Association.
