Bored Ape Yacht Club Clubhouse "Burned Down" By Rival NFT Art Gang

TOKYO, Japan - Aug. 22, 2022 - PRLog -- This past weekend, the clubhouse of the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection was symbolically "burned down" by artists from the rival Gang Of NFT Addicted Degens - the GONADS.

The art attack is titled "Burning Ape Yacht Conflagration" and features a detailed and colorful illustration of apes fleeing from the blazing clubhouse while one of the GONADS' gang members stands in the foreground holding a can of gasoline and a smoking matchstick.

According to Cryptic Burger, the anonymous artist collective responsible for the illustration, the piece was designed to bring some levity to the current NFT bear market, where many participants are feeling "burned" recently.

Cryptic Burger has also revealed that this is only the first "attack" and several more are already in the planning stages against other popular NFT projects.

The artwork was offered as a 20 piece limited edition ERC-1155 NFT token for 0.019 ETH and minted out within hours.

"Burning Ape Yacht Conflagration" is now trading on the secondary market on OpenSea here:
