Axes Physical Therapy Celebrates Opening of 16th and 17th Locations

ST. PETERS, Mo. - Aug. 22, 2022 - PRLog -- Axes Physical Therapy is a full-service physical and occupational therapy provider now with  17 locations. Axes proudly serve the Greater St. Louis, MO area with clinics located in St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Jefferson and Franklin Counties, and St. Francois County.

The name Axes (ak-sēz) is defined as a place of great importance to an activity or interest. For Axes Physical Therapy, that interest is returning our patients to the activities they love through hands-on, expertly provided physical and occupational therapy services.

Since opening in May 2016 with two locations and the desire to change the physical therapy landscape in the Midwest, Axes has quickly become a place of great importance to patients and the caring employees who make up the team with 17 locations, and growth on the horizon. Staying true to their roots, Axes is a local company, owned and operated by physical therapists.

In 2021 and 2022, Axes was nominated for Best Physical Therapy in St. Louis by STL Magazine and Best Places to Work in St. Louis by the St. Louis Post Dispatch. These nominations are a true testament to the quality of their services and the strength of the company culture.  Also in 2022, Axes received the Community Impact Award from the St. Louis Business Journal for their goodwill donations of money and time through the Axes Physical Therapy Foundation.

In August 2022, Axes opened its newest facilities in St. Peters and Ballwin. The first is located in St. Peters, making their second location servicing the St. Peters community. This new location, led by John Ruesler, PT, DPT, CMPT near 70/370, in between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Cave Springs exits. The second location is in Ballwin, just off Manchester Rd/ 141, led by Emily Helton, Clinic Director, PT, DPT, CMPT, Astym Cert.

Over the past 6 years, Axes has received astounding amounts of support from community members, the medical community, patients, friends, family, and clients. This support allowed them to grow from two to 17 locations, with over 150 employees, despite the challenges presented in 2020.
