CHICAGO - Aug. 23, 2022 - PRLog -- The Editorial Freelancers Association will be exhibiting once again at the Printers Row Lit Fest September 10 – 11 in Chicago. The conference will take place in historic Printers Row, South Dearborn Street from Ida B. Wells to Polk Street.

"This is a wonderful gathering of the literary community and a great opportunity to connect with book lovers, writers, and editorial professionals. Festival-goers can find us in front of the Hotel Blake, near the Program Stage."

Presented by the not-for-profit Near South Planning Board, the Printers Row Lit Fest is the largest free outdoor literary conference in the Midwest, with an expected attendance of more than 100,000. This community-based event will feature more than 100 booksellers offering a range of new, used, and rare books, as well as a variety of speakers, panels, and workshops, all presented free of charge.

Founded in 1970, the Editorial Freelancers Association is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators and others who work in publishing, communications, and related fields.

The EFA has garnered praise from publishing pros like Jane Friedman and Louise Harnby and is frequently listed as a valuable resource for authors on sites including Poets & Writers, BookBub, Medium, The Write Life, Publishers Weekly, Poynter, and the Chicago Manual of Style blog.
