Threshold Aviation Group Expands Footprint at Chino Airport with Acquisition of Fourth Hangar

CHINO, Calif. - Aug. 16, 2022 - PRLog -- Threshold Aviation Group (TAG) has leased its fourth 50,000-square-foot hangar from the County of San Bernardino at the Chino Airport, ("KCNO"). TAG's KCNO facilities now include 250,000 square feet of hangar, shop, and office space as well as 500,000 square feet of ramp space. The new hangar will be utilized to service and support TAG's Business Jet Operations.

The Company began operations in 1988 and has grown into the premier Business Jet Support facility in Southern California. TAG provides a full range of services to Business Jet owners including an Executive Jet Terminal & Fixed Base Operation, Aircraft Sales, Maintenance & Repair, Modification Services, Completion & Refurbishment, and Avionics Installation & Repair, Aircraft Management Services, Charter Service, Aircraft Storage, and Aircraft Dismantling – Repurposing.

TAG's client list includes wealthy individuals, corporations, and government entities worldwide. Demonstrating TAG's experience and maintenance sophistication, The National Aeronautics and Space Administration ("NASA") selected TAG to convert a Gulfstream Aircraft from a business jet into a Research Aircraft for NASA's High Ice Water Content ("HIWC") program. The conversion required eighteen months to complete and included the installation of wing pylons containing scientific equipment and scientist positions in the cabin to monitor the equipment.

One of TAG's subsidiaries is CieloBlu, a Dealer and Service Center for TECNAM Aircraft. TECNAM is an Italian Aircraft Manufacturer of general aviation aircraft with approximately 7,500 aircraft operating worldwide.
