About Laura Laura is an award-winning actress, singer-songwriter, and dancer, as well as an E-RYT 500-hour yoga, meditation, restorative & therapeutics, Ayurveda, yin, and pre-natal yoga teacher and trainer and founder of Bliss Bodies Wellness in Manhattan. She is also a Reiki Master attuned by her teacher, Brett Bevell, of the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, NY, a Level 8 Magical Awakening Practitioner (a Celtic form of energetic healing), and a Marma points practitioner (acupressure) Laura started studying yoga in 2000 and began teaching in 2007. She received her 200-hour certification at YogaWorks (Manhattan), and then her 300-hour certification from ISHTA Yoga. In 2009, she traveled to India, and went to The Yoga Institute in Santacruz, Mumbai. Laura has been involved in Summer Solstice in Times Square, Global Mala Yoga for Peace, and The Yoga Freedom Project. She has taught at The Omega Institute and The Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health.
