Two new board members join the Shoebox Project for Women UK

London based Shoebox Project for Women UK is proud to announce the addition of two new members to their prestigious board.

CHELSEA, U.K. - Aug. 4, 2022 - PRLog -- Amy Stirling, who will this August be joining MC Saatchi's International Division, following 6 years of experience in advertising and marketing at leading charity and Social Purpose Agency – GOOD Agency. Having delivered award winning multi-channel campaigns with particular experience in the world of fundraising and charity innovation she will undoubtedly be a positive addition to the board, bringing creative solutions, empathy and extensive contacts to this flourishing charity.

The second welcome addition to the board is Rachel Barnett. Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Rachel has enjoyed a career spanning over 22 years in sales and marketing. A specialist in the aviation industry, Rachel has served in various senior roles and worked on several award-winning aircraft interior design and airport lounge projects for major flag carriers. She recently joined Symbiotics Ltd, the experts in psychometric assessments for the aviation industry, in the position of international Business Development Consultant.

Philanthropy is of major importance to Rachel and she has always contributed where possible to the reinforcement of non-profit organisations including Oxfam in Wales, and The Prince's Trust International, for whom she dedicated her time to international marketing efforts on their behalf.

Both new board members, are commencing their new role with Shoebox Project for Women UK immediately and will surely have an excellent impact on the success of the upcoming drives for corporate donors.

About The Shoebox Project:

The Shoebox Project for Women aims to share kindness and compassion with local
women impacted by homelessness through the collection and distribution of gift-filled
Shoeboxes. Each Shoebox is festively decorated and lovingly packed with essentials
and gifts valued at £35, as well as a message of support, that can enhance self-worth
and reduce feelings of isolation. The project was started in Toronto Canada and
celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2021.
