Integrated Health Platform adds Fitness Director Making Men "Harder To Kill"

MINNEAPOLIS - July 29, 2022 - PRLog -- Argent Alpha today announced Konnor Fleming has joined the company as Fitness Director. Fleming oversees the fitness program at Argent Alpha and spent the last 4 months creating a training program designed specifically for men over 50. The emphasis is on creating stability, functional strength, aerobic efficiency, and anaerobic performance. The program focuses on low risk, high reward movements and takes into account many of the constraints men over 50 face.

Fleming is also the Alpha Program Lead at Southdale Lifetime Fitness. Fleming was formerly a General Manager at Alchemy365.

Fleming is also a certified Precision Nutrition coach and works with Argent Alpha members on nutritional guidelines designed to help them achieve their specific goals.

Argent Alpha launched a pilot cohort of 15 men over 50 on December 27, 2021. The primary goal is to make men harder to kill. "70% of men over 50 are overweight or obese. This means they are aging at an accelerated rate, reducing their quality of life and more than likely, their life expectancy" says Jagodzinski. "We start by reducing body fat % to 15% which dramatically reduces metabolic syndrome, a cluster of conditions that occur together, increasing your risk of heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes, We also get blood work done to determine biological age (how old your cells are) with the goal of making that number younger than your chronological age (your birthday). We've had men drop 20 lbs, reduce body fat from 24% to 14.9%, and reduce their biological age from 6 to 9 years."
