Greater Fort Myers Chamber announces finalists for inaugural Chamber Awards

FORT MYERS, Fla. - July 28, 2022 - PRLog -- The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for its inaugural Chamber Awards, to be held on Thursday, Aug. 11 at Pelican Preserve Golf Club in Fort Myers.

Recognizing members for their outstanding contributions to the greater Fort Myers community, the program will feature an award ceremony and gourmet dinner to honor finalists and name honorees for their impact. Finalists have been named in the following categories:

• Small Business of the Year: Becker & Poliakoff – Fort Myers and Fort Myers Brewing Company
• Large Business of the Year: Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company, P.A. and Sanibel Captiva Community Bank
• Community Impact: Maggi Feiner (FISH of SanCap) and Teri Hansen (Priority Marketing)
• Entrepreneur of the Year: Blake Renda (Dragon Horse Agency) and Troy Churchill (Cypress Living)
• Nonprofit Excellence Award: Hope Healthcare and Pace Center for Girls, Lee
• Young Professional of the Year: Andrea Smith (Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A.) and Maria Espinoza (FISH of SanCap)

The inaugural Chamber Awards will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11 at the Pelican Preserve Golf Club, located at 9802 Pelican Preserve Blvd. in Fort Myers. The awards ceremony will include an installation ceremony for the Chamber's 2022 board of directors.

Guests will enjoy an evening of surprises including a Dessert Dash auction featuring an array of desserts made by local culinary and business teams, as well as a last chance to enter the Chamber's 144 Envelope Adventure with a variety of prize drawings.

Tickets are still available for the event at $60 for individuals and $110 for couples.
