At the age of eighteen, Ruby Marley began penning erotica and other works of fiction. She believed she had found her calling when her stories gathered traction on the internet. She devoted herself to perfecting her art, and her abilities grew stronger with each passing year.

Ruby, according to Destiny, kidnapped Destiny and forced her to compose the novel. Ruby persuaded her friend to publish the work she'd been keeping private for years. Destiny has been all over the world, witnessing exotic locales that serve as inspiration for her fictional universes.

An enemies-to-lovers story about two Viking shield maidens whose ship goes down off the coast of Newfoundland is told in The Lost Maidens. To survive the harsh winters of Canada, Alva and Kailtyn are forced to put their differences aside and rely on one another. Together, they meet the first nation's inhabitants of the region and even fight supernatural creatures from both Inuit and Norse mythology.
