JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - July 17, 2022 - PRLog -- This celebration of Black History has returned for a third year to celebrate trailblazers, current and future leaders of color in the media. Curated by Obi Umunna, Esq., Managing Partner of Umunna Legal Group, this event will honor the men and women that fight for truth, transparency, and leadership as well as continue the legacy of black media. "At a time when we are losing so many of our historic black publications I couldn't think of a better time to lift up black media particularly in our city. '' said Umunna. Sponsored by Florida Blue™ and VyStar™, The Ken Knight Awards will bring together journalists, anchors, reporters, on-air personalities, producers, influencers, sales and marketing professionals across Northeast Florida to honor their peers in media.
