Rx Outreach, National Non-Profit Pharmacy, Joins Unite Us

ST. LOUIS - July 14, 2022 - PRLog -- Rx Outreach, the country's largest nonprofit, digital pharmacy, has joined Unite Us, the nation's leading technology company connecting health and social care services. Through the partnership, tens of thousands of low-income and uninsured people will gain easier access to free and affordable medications delivered directly to their homes. The launch initially includes Texas, Missouri, Florida, North Carolina and Georgia, with plans to expand to all 50 states by the end of the year.

Unite Us is a technology company that builds coordinated care networks of health and social service providers. The network provides a central point of contact where health care providers and social service organizations can securely access and refer people to needed services—like Rx Outreach—while monitoring progress and measuring outcomes.

Everyone deserves access to low-cost medications. No one should have to choose between filling a prescription and feeding their family. Through this partnership, providers from all over the nation can refer their patients and community members to the critical services Rx Outreach offers, meaning eligible individuals can receive free or low-cost medications that can be lifesaving. By working with network partners across sectors, this ensures there is no wrong door for people accessing these services—whether an individual is initially seeking help through their doctor, their place of worship, a food pantry, or another community-based organization.

Rx Outreach works closely with providers at free clinics, who are historically understaffed and under-resourced. Partnering with Unite Us expands this  network and increases visibility  to such clinics and their patients across the country.
