OC Attorney Vivienne Chen Elected As Vice Chair of Membership for the LACBA Real Property Section

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - July 13, 2022 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Orange County attorney Vivienne Chen has been invited to serve as Vice Chair of Membership for the Real Property Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA). Chen was sworn in on July 6 at the LACBA Real Property Section Executive Committee virtual meeting alongside her fellow incoming officers.

According to its website, LACBA has been the voice of the legal community in Southern California since 1878 and it is one of the largest voluntary bar associations in the country, with over 18,000 members, 28 law practice sections, 21 committees and 18 affiliated geographic and identity bar associations. LACBA partners with the County of Los Angeles to administer independent defense counsel to juvenile and indigent criminal defendants. It operates four pro bono legal services projects, helping thousands of residents each year. It is dedicated to addressing equity and inclusion and being the conduit to underrepresented members of the legal community.

Chen is a real estate associate in Snell & Wilmer's Orange County office. She is a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group and her practice involves all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and disposition, real estate development, and commercial leasing of all types. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Chen was the associate director of development for a real estate development company in Los Angeles.

Chen received her LL.M. in Alternative Dispute Resolution from University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, her J.D. from Loyola Law School and her B.A. from University of Southern California. She has been an active member of the LA County Bar Associations since 2018, and previously served as the Vice Chair of Communications for the Real Property Section and Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Barristers Section. Chen is also an active member of CREW Orange County, serving on the Emerging Leaders Committee as well as the Programs Committee. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance and the Croker Commercial Real Estate Symposium.
