Allston--
Unbound Visual Arts (UVA) is pleased to announce the opening of an in-person exhibit at its Arthaus Gallery in Allston. The current exhibit ends July 17th, 2022. Inspiring Change for the Climate Crisis, curated by Adriana G. Prat,  includes artwork of 21 visual artists in several media.  Prat states: "The environmental crisis is a collective problem that can make us feel overwhelmed and powerless. The exhibit's artists explore related themes, from consumerism and pollution to climate change; from the beauty and interconnection of the natural beings, to their vulnerabilities. We hope to inspire awareness and creative action to help reverse the environmental crisis."

The  21 artists - iC3 artists: Steve Bennett, Sarah Meyers Brent, Cedric Harper, Martha Heller, C.J. Lori, Maria Celeste Linardi, Michelle Lougee, Rebecca McGee Tuck, Michael Manning,  Shelby Meyerhoff, Carol Moses, Jeffrey Nowlin, Paula Pitman Brown, Steven Rudin, Luna Sconty, Cynthia Staples. UVA artists:  Si Chen in collaboration with Hui Huang, Muriel Horvath, Pauline Lim, Nilou Moochhala, and Michaela Morse.

Adriana G. Prat is an academically-trained scientist, with a Ph.D. in Biophysics, on a quest to inspire awareness and change/action for the environmental crisis through her curatorial role with the i3C artist group.  She is also an abstract artist.

Adriana has been passionate about the natural world since her childhood  in Argentina, thanks to her father, who educated her on his strong environmental values that influenced her curiosity to become a scientist. After moving to the US, a more introspective lifestyle inspired Adriana to embrace her passion for art-making.  Adriana is the organizer of the i3C artist group.
