Golden Leas Saves the Day for St. George's Young Swimmers!
By: Lovat Parks
Comments Howard Fisher, Headmaster of the school: "Historically, we have used the local leisure centre for swimming lessons, but with budget cuts it became prohibitively expensive.
"We approached Golden Leas Holiday Park with an offer to rent their swimming pool but to our surprise and delight, the company said that we could use the pool free of charge."
Raoul Fraser, Founder of Lovat Parks added: "At all our parks we see ourselves as part of the local community and like to get involved with various projects.
"We were absolutely delighted to be able to help the pupils of St. George's to earn their swimming badges. Learning to swim is a vital life skill because, tragically, accidents do occur – thankfully rarely."
The privately owned and run Lovat Parks group has 10 holiday parks across southern England in Cornwall, The New Forest, Suffolk, Norfolk and Kent.
Accommodation is in luxury holiday homes, shepherds' huts, safari tents and camping pods. Some sites welcome independent campers and camper vans.
The purchase of holiday homes is also an option at some parks.
*Lovat Parks is the only holiday park company in the world to have been awarded B-Corp certification.
