The Berwyn Mountains or 'range' is an isolated and sparsely populated area of moorland in the northeast of Wales, roughly bounded by Llangollen in the northeast, Corwen in the northwest, Bala in the southwest, and Oswestry in the southeast. August Escape to the Coast of Morocco: 4 nights from £300 pp

It's not too late for a summer escape and Fleewinter has four nights staying at the luxurious Rebali Riads ( on the coast of Morocco from 13 August.  The complex is in the surf village of Sidi Kaouki, 20 minutes south of the Portuguese fishing port of Essaouira.  The walled resort is comprised of just 7 traditionally styled riads but with modern touches such as remote-controlled glass roofs.  The riads have from two to five bedrooms, and the larger ones have private swimming pools (there are also shared pools).  Within the grounds is a hammam (Moroccan spa) with bookable treatments, and a tennis court.   Accommodation is on a B&B basis, but other meals can be delivered to the riads by the on-site staff at a supplement.  There is also an al fresco, group dining area.  A four-night break, costs from £300 pp, based on a family of four.  Call 020 7112 0019 (
