Set The Night On Fire! Writing For Change 2022

SAN FRANCISCO - July 6, 2022 - PRLog -- For generations, the San Francisco Bay Area has been known as a hotbed for social justice activism. An often-heard term here is, "Don't just talk about it, be about it!" Many of the most thoroughly respected figures in the fight for justice do just that. They are both in the trenches sharing food with the homeless and standing before the seats of power waging a struggle against those who would enact policy adversely impacting the public they represent. These courageous souls are also writing chapter and verse of the times.

Come hear the voices of change, freedom, and revolution at the San Francisco Writers Conference "Writing For Change" event on Friday, July 22nd from 7:00–10:00 p.m. at the San Francisco Hyatt Regency hotel's Grand Ballroom. It is free and open to the vaccinated/tested public. Masks are required. And it's located right next to the Embarcadero BART station.

Author/activist/preacher OG Rev will present to you poets, novelists, nonfiction writers and Bay Area literary scene legends including Nicia De'Lovely, Benjamin Bac-Sierra, Jenee Darden, Jeff Chang, Audrey T. Williams, Tongo Eisen-Martin, and many more. There is no other place in the country like the Bay Area and no more diverse array of people who will share the same literary stage this year.

Come feel the fire and the fury! Set foot in movement. Learn more at https://www.sfwriters.org/writing-for-change-2022/.
