His experience includes representing clients in a wide range of software and technology hardware patent matters, including, but not limited to, autonomous vehicles, streaming media, wireless standards, imaging products, virtualization, and Saas/cloud, and multi-tenant applications. Krishnan has represented clients in the automotive, aerospace, medical, software, and technology-related industries. He has extensive experience providing IP counsel to software start-up businesses. He also represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and European Patent Office (EPO) regarding patent appeals. Krishnan has counseled on and drafted patent applications for a variety of technologies including: Cellular- 5G/4G protocol, power management, base stations, transceivers, CableTV backend/EPG/ Krishnan served as in-house IP counsel for several premier Silicon Valley technology companies and is a former primary patent examiner with the USPTO, where he had full signatory authority.
