Jane Herbert a Solo Exhibition of Paintings

PORTLAND, Maine - June 6, 2022 - PRLog -- Richard Boyd Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of a solo exhibition of paintings by noted Maine artist Jane Herbert on August 1st at 10:00 a.m.  This is Jane's seventh solo exhibition of paintings at the gallery.  If you love paintings depicting the beauty of Maine's landscape and coastal communities don't miss this exhibit.  You won't be disappointed!

A year round resident of Damariscotta, her exquisitely detailed traditional style paintings are a visual expression of life along the coast and reveal observations of the picturesque landscape and seaside charm of Maine's coastal communities.

"Through the years, I've been inspired by the beauty I find in nature.  Recently I have taken a wider view of the landscape and the strong and reassuring sense of unity I feel in it.  I want to draw people into that kind of healing space."

Jane's paintings are widely collected and held in numerous private and public collections.  The exhibit is on view free of charge from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily from August 1st through August 30th, 2022.
