JagKumar Wins Direct Award From Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART)
JagKumar, led by tech executive and entrepreneur Jagdish "Jay" Katyal, is jumping into the breach to quickly identify and correct software and hardware issues with the CCTV systems installed on DART's fleet of approximately 700 buses and streetcars. JagKumar's technical experts will troubleshoot and repair hardware and software, including DART's DVRs, cameras, and AMS servers, both remotely and onsite in the Dallas, TX, metro area.
"I think DART was impressed with how well we have handled installation and servicing of CCTV equipment on WMATA's bus fleet over the past seven years," stated Katyal, JagKumar's founder and CEO. "I'm proud of our reputation for exceptional customer service and our statistics on response time and uptime for the CCTV systems at WMATA and our other customers."
JagKumar technical experts will also recommend updates needed for improved security and perform database performance tuning and management and preventative maintenance and will train police support staff. JagKumar will be called upon to advise on and assist in the replacement of the Dedicated Micros CCTV system, which is no longer supported in the US.
"We're thrilled to have won the direct transportation award from DART," said Katyal. "Our team is known for our commitment to service and proactive communication to ensure that everything is working perfectly. Our customers comment on our outstanding follow-up and attention to detail, which we're looking forward to bringing to DART."
