Bulletproof Zone Donates $10,000 to Uvalde School Shooting Victims

HONOLULU - June 1, 2022 - PRLog -- Protective body armor company, Bulletproof Zone has donated $10,000 to community efforts and the victims' families affected by the deadly school shooting in Uvalde, Texas last week.

Bulletproof Zone processed the $10,000 donation earlier this week split across three different funds on the online fundraiser platform GoFundMe, including the Texas Elementary School Shooting Victims Fund, Robb Elementary Relief Fund, and Joe & Irma Garcia.

Bulletproof Zone has seen increasing demand in body armor, ballistic gear and other safety equipment since its company's inception in 2017. This includes larger, temporary spikes in sales and traffic to their website due to high profile events mentioned on the news involving gun violence, mass shootings, civil riots, political events, and the COVID pandemic.

The most recent school shooting, however, which tragically left 19 children and 2 adults dead, resulted in the most rapid surge they have seen to date, reflecting the alarming and heartbreaking reality that Americans continue to face.

"In less than 24 hours after the shooting, we've reached our highest sales record to date. The majority of which are for backpack armors most likely from concerned parents who are looking to secure protection for their children," said Kevin Lim, CEO of Bulletproof Zone.
