GRAND OPENING: New Cafe in Laveen Helping Foster Kids

Hãnai AZ to Open in Laveen, Arizona with a Unique Mission to Do Good in the Community.

LAVEEN, AZ. (June, 2022) – Hãnai was created by Laveen locals, for the Laveen community. Hãnai is obsessed with great drinks and delicious eats. They refuse to sacrifice quality. Hãnai is an upscale counter service, but what sets them apart is the welcoming environment their staff creates. They offer coffee, unique and traditional cocktails, craft beers and wines, as well as, fresh locally sourced food and charcuterie boards. Hãnai provides an atmosphere for everyone to enjoy, whether it be with their outdoor patio seating, party room rental, live music, DJ Sunday brunches, or happy hour specials.

Business with a Purpose. Hãnai is more than a place to eat or grab your favorite drink, they are about doing good for Arizona's foster youth. A portion of all proceeds goes to helping foster youth find their adoptive families. They are in the business of helping kids find their forever homes. Hãnai also employs youth in the foster care system and adults with special needs. Their focus is to help develop our youth into a hard working and passionate workforce with many becoming leaders, and someday opening their own Hãnai.

Hãnai plans to have their grand opening celebration the weekend of June 10th, 2022, and they will be offering giveaways and specials all weekend long for the local community. Some of these promotions include a beach weekend giveaway, coffee for a year, a party package in our private room, wine bottle, and charcuterie giveaways. Hãnai will also be offering their happy hour specials all weekend long, $15 mimosa buckets, live music performances, and more!

Owners, Ryan and Sara Senters, founded Hãnai to help create dignity, work opportunities, and purpose for Arizona foster kids. As foster parents themselves, the Senters also founded an agency called Ohana in 2015 that serves as an extended family to foster kids in the community. They are excited to continue carrying out Hãnai's mission to 'Do Good' in their community by providing leadership and business skills to these individuals who have aged out of foster care and help prepare them to enter the workforce with confidence.
