BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - May 30, 2022 - PRLog -- With Japan being one of the last remaining countries to discard with Covid travel restrictions, Bamboo Travel reports unprecedented levels of enquiry for Spring 2023, one of the most popular times of year to visit to see the famous cherry blossom.

The country is currently trialling 'test tours' of foreigners, and these are controlled/monitored group tours organised by the government.

In June Japan will be increasing its daily limit of foreigners entering the country from 10,000 to 20,000

Comments Tim Milner, Director of Bamboo Travel: "It has just been announced by the Prime Minister of Japan that from the 10th of June, they will start welcoming tourists on 'package tours' – though the definition of a package tour has not been made clear.

"There is a lot of interest in holidays to Japan for spring next year, no doubt boosted by the lack of opportunities to travel in 2022.

"Things are moving in the right direction – just without much clarity or speed!  Our customers are aware that the best hotel accommodation may not be available next year without booking well in advance."

Bamboo Travel offers a choice of 10 recommended itineraries to Japan, plus one combining Japan with South Korea.  The trips are from 13 to 19 days in duration and include the popular 13-day Classic Japan (https://bambootravel.co.uk/tours/classic-japan).

Perfect for the first-time visitor, the itinerary includes all of Japan's main highlights and delves into its fascinating culture on this carefully planned tour.

The holiday includes accommodation in a mix of hotels and traditional Japanese Inns, and starts with a few days to experience the futuristic city of Tokyo, before travelling to the Hakone National Park, to explore myriad attractions including the iconic sight of Mount Fuji.

Next is a bullet train ride to the historic city of Kyoto, the capital of ancient Japan, to see many of the country's most treasured heritage sites.  Continue west to explore the city of Hiroshima, and then stay in a Japanese Inn on the nearby island of Miyajima, located in the scenic 'Inland Sea' between Honshu and Shikoku.

It finishes with a night in Osaka, a city which has gained a reputation as Japan's culinary hot spot.

The holiday costs from £2995 per person (two sharing a room).  This includes flights, all transportation, 11 nights' B&B (plus four dinners), sightseeing/activities and a guide.
